ABOUT US Gourmet Affairs is owned by husband & wife team Kathy & Rich Hydak, born & raised in the local area. Rich Hydak is the reigning Steel Chef Champion of Westmoreland County. The Steel Chef Championship Competition was held at WCCC with over 1300 spectators & a panel of judges. The event was sponsored by Shop & Save and publicity was covered by the Tribune Review. Chefs competed with many large, exclusive & popular restaurants such as Seven Springs, Red Star Brewery, and Helens Restaurant in Somerset. This was the first entry for Rich & he tied for First Place with world reknown Nemocolin Woodlands. |
